The key series to understand the third season of “The Mandalorian”

According to the publication, viewers should go back to the fifth, sixth and seventh episode of that series which focuses on Mando, also known as Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal), and Grogu, popularly nicknamed as Baby Yoda.

Recall that in the final episode of the second season of “The Mandalorian”, Mando managed to rescue Grogu.

Before handing it over to Luke Skywalker to deepen his knowledge of the Jedi, as a farewell gesture and in violation of the Mandalorian culture’s code of honor, Mando reveals his face for the first time to Baby Yoda.

In “The Book of Boba Fett” more is known about the dark saber or darksabera lightsaber that resembles a sword, which is used by Mando in this series.

In addition, it presents (in the final chapter of the series) the reunion between Grogu and Mando in the battle of Mos Espa. In that battle, Grogu uses the force to put a rancor to sleep.

Star Wars fans will remember Pateesa, the rancor monster from the film “Episode VI – Return of the Jedi” (1983). In this film Luke Skywalker manages to kill the rancorwho was the architect of Jabba’s revenge, and who tried to eat the young Jedi.

Another important part of the third season is that Grogu chooses to abandon his Jedi training to return to his caretaker, Mando.

In this same episode, Din Djarin’s new spaceship is shown. His old ship was destroyed during a battle against the Empire, which took place in the second season.
