synopsis of The Dangers in My Heart:
The story centers on Kyoutaro Ichikawa, a high school student who appears to be ordinary, but in his heart dreams of murder. So it’s not surprising that the person he wants to kill the most is never far from his mind: class idol Anna Yamada.
While reading in his beloved school library, he inadvertently begins to run into Yamada, who comes to secretly gorge himself on sweets and treats. Through her interactions, Ichikawa finds out how foolish Yamada is and can’t help but support her from a distance.
Meanwhile, Yamada can’t help but relentlessly pester Ichikawa due to his nervous reactions. With a series of touching daily interactions, the distant bond between the two becomes more than just library acquaintances. Perhaps, in time, Ichikawa will realize that her murderous desires have turned into something else entirely.
