Max Langenhan wins the closing men’s singles Luge World Cup in Winterberg, with a time of 1’43″364, and precedes Jonas Mueller by 179 thousandths and Nico Gleirscher by 239. Dominik Fischnaller is in fifth place, 383 thousandths behind the winner. The other Italians: Leon Felderer is tenth, 585 thousandths from the first, Alex Gufler is 15th, Lukas Peccei 19th. Italy closes the last team match in fourth place, behind Austria, Germany and the USA.

The luge season therefore ends with splendid victories by Dominik Fischnaller and the double Voetter/Oberhofer.

Dominik Fischnaller wins the overall World Cup with 812 points against Felix Loch’s 767 and Langenhan’s 685, while he is second in the classic single ranking behind the German. Fischnaller also wins the sprint world cup.
