Agents attached to the El Valle Police Coordination Center held a confrontation early Wednesday morning with armed individuals, one of whom was killed, according to police sources.
The confrontation took place during a saturation operation that the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) has been carrying out in sectors of El Valle, where they have detected movements of various criminal groups seeking to create chaos in that Caracas parish.
On this occasion, officials from the El Valle Police Coordination Center, headed by Commissioner Douglas Torrealba, entered 18th Street, El Tanque sector, Los Jardines del Valle, where they confronted an armed group. In that operation, Raúl José Castillo (Raulito) was killed, who fired an Armenian .38 caliber revolver, which was seized.
Alias Raulito had a record for qualified intentional homicide in the execution of a frustration degree robbery, since 2022, according to records.
The deceased was a member of the criminal organization led by El Pitufo, who operate in Coche and El Valle extorting merchants and distributing drugs, according to investigations.
The procedure was notified to the Public Ministry.
