Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Coming To Star Plus In Latin America: The Star Plus platform announced that the Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War anime will reach its catalog in Latin America on February 22, more than four months after its official premiere in Japan. It should be noted that the series has already finished broadcasting its first part with a total of thirteen episodes, so bringing it officially months later is easily one of the worst market decisions regarding anime distribution. Given the importance of the series, thousands of fans of the franchise have probably already seen it through unofficial sites, and there was no legal option to consume the series since Hulu was in charge of simulcasting it in the United States. In fact, it’s not even the first time that The Walt Disney Company has done a lousy distribution of anime since it had already ruined the distribution of series like Summertime Render and Black Rock Shooter: Dawn Fall.
The first part of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War had a total of thirteen episodes, but it is also confirmed that everything that remains of the original manga will be adapted. For his part, Tite Kubo published the original manga in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine between August 2001 and August 2016, compiling the work in a total of 74 volumes.
